Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Agafay Desert

  • Departure: We pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation for a short drive into the hidden Agafay Desert.
  • Activities: Settle into your camp. The afternoon is yours to enjoy—relax by the pool or choose an optional quad bike adventure.
  • Sunset: Enjoy a sunset camel trek across the rocky ridges as the sky transforms into vibrant colors.
  • Evening: A traditional dinner served under the stars, followed by a night in a luxury tent.

Day 2: Agafay – Kik Plateau – Imlil

  • Morning: After breakfast, we travel across the Kik Plateau, a stunning limestone outcrop offering 360-degree views of the Atlas Mountains and the Lalla Takerkoust Lake.
  • The Ascent: Continue your journey into the mountains, arriving at the trekking hub of Imlil (1,740m).
  • Afternoon: Take a gentle introductory walk through the village and walnut groves to acclimatize to the mountain air.
  • Night: Stay in a charming traditional Kasbah or a premium mountain lodge with terrace views.

Day 3: Imlil & Aremd Village Immersion

  • The Hike: Set out with a local guide for a trek (on foot or by mule) to the village of Aremd, the highest settlement in the valley built on a massive rock outcrop.
  • Cultural Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Berber lunch hosted by a local family, featuring an authentic tagine cooked over a wood fire.

  • The Return: Drive back down toward Marrakech. If it’s a Saturday, we will stop at the Asni Weekly Souk to witness a bustling traditional market where mountain tribes gather.
